13Even after a COP Letter has been issued and a complaint made to us, a provider may still try to resolve the complaint by offering to reconsider the matter or proposing a settlement. Should the provider wish to do this, it should tell us as soon as possible, as we may suspend or terminate our review. It should also keep us informed of progress and the final decision.
